The Golden Lotus Opera House was a Hong Kong café where Mei Ying and Indiana Jones waited to meet with Wu Han in 1935 while pursuing the Heart of the Dragon, a black pearl. A brawl broke out and Mei Ying was captured by members of the Black Dragon Triad. Wu Han and Jones gave chase and later returned with Mei Ying to the Golden Lotus after they had defeated Marshall Kai from using the Heart of the Dragon to destroy them. Jones and Mei-Ying told their story to Wu Han who was fascinated.
