Disguised as American serviceman "Grant", a Russian soldier accompanied his superiors, Antonin Dovchenko and Irina Spalko, to infiltrate Hangar 51 in Nevada in 1957.

History

In 1957, Grant helped his superiors, Colonels Irina Spalko and Antonin Dovchenko to infiltrate in Hangar 51 along the cautives, who were archaeologist Indiana Jones and Colonel George McHale. During Indiana Jones's escape from custody, Jones unintentionally swung back to the windshield of the truck carrying Jefferson and Grant. Jones then threw Jefferson out first, then Grant.

Grant was later present amongst Spalko and Dovchenko's men in Brazil. Following the jungle chase, he and several other soldiers in a truck, trying to escape from siafu, rappelled down a cliff face with Spalko. When Marion Ravenwood drove her duck off the cliff above them and landed on a tree branch, the branch snapped back up and hit the cliff, knocking Grant and two others into the river, killing them on impact.

Behind the scenes

Grant was played by Andrew Divoff in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The characters was credited as one of the four Russian soldiers.

According to the insignia on his shirt, he was pretending to be a sergeant in the US Army.
