Hans was one of Dunkelvolk's Nazi henchmen.
In 1947, he traveled with Klaus's truck to Matthias Jäger guarding his crates, one of which had fragments of the Philosopher's Stone. Indiana Jones hijacked the truck, knocked Hans unconscious and, when Klaus slowed down near the crossroads, he threw him out. Jones later disguised himself as Hans.
