- "He's very dedicated to his work."
- ―Helen's friend[src]
Helen's friend was a dark-haired student at Barnett College. In 1931, she and her friend Helen were enrolled in one of Professor Indiana Jones' archaeology courses.
After the final lecture at the end of the semester, she and her friend approached Doctor Jones in the hall, as he was speaking with Marcus Brody. Helen asked to meet with the professor in his office to go over the lesson with both of them, but he declined, needing to research some statues from the Ottoman Empire. As they walked off, the friend remarked on Jones' dedication to the job but Helen hoped that some of his attention came her way.
