Hollywood is a neighborhood of Los Angeles, California and home to the US motion picture industry. As such, the name has also come to refer to mainstream American cinema.

In 1920, in order to help pay for his studies at the University of Chicago, Indiana Jones took a job from Universal Studios to shut down director Erich von Stroheim's production of Foolish Wives which had run considerably over budget.[1]
Willie Scott's inability to break into Hollywood during the Great Depression led to her journeying to Shanghai.[2]
