A blond-haired woman was the switchboard operator at Hotel El Cor—— in Barcelona.
Biography[]
One night in 1931, she was on duty, when a phone call from the front desk asked to be connected to a guest named Belloq with a Q. She tried ringing Belloq's room for the caller, but was unable to connect them. Inadvertently, she had given out Belloq's room number to the caller, who then tricked a housekeeper into letting him into the room.
