Doctor Howard Butler was an American archaeologist.
Biography[]
In February 1916, Butler was a dinner guest of Professor Henry Jones, Sr. at the Jones family house in Princeton along with several others. During the gathering, Butler offered to take high schooler Indiana Jones, an aspiring archaeologist, on a dig after the teen's studies.[1]
