The CAV Collector's Edition were a set of LaserDiscs released in 1984 and 1986, covering Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The films are presented in a 1.33:1 pan and scan ratio. These are notable as this set is the very first home video releases of the movies. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade would be released in 1990 as a CLV Letterboxed version.
The LaserDisc set featured content that was not carried over to any DVD release:
- Theatrical Teaser for Temple of Doom (appears before the start of Raiders)
- Frame-by-frame mode
- Original Dolby Stereo mix on Analog channels
- Great Movie Stunts: Raiders of the Lost Ark (available as a mail order if you sent a proof of purchase to Paramount)
