Originally reported by some sites to be released on May 13,[1][2] Paramount will release "Special Editions" of the first three films on May 12, 2008, as a tie-in to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.[3] The flyers in the Stardust DVDs advertise the original films as being released individually as Special Editions on DVD on May 12.

The film will be released on home vdeo on October 14, 2008. It will be offered in three formats: a one-disc edition DVD, a two-disc Special Edition DVD set, and as a two-disc edition Blu-ray set. [4][5]

Disc 1 includes:

  • Indiana Jones Timelines - Explore the movie through interactive timelines that include video featurettes, in-depth information and unique imagery. Your adventure begins with one of these three timelines:
