In 1987, Spanish toy manufacturer Star Toys released a series of seven Indiana Jones action figures for their domestic market along with a role-playing set.
The action figure line was distinctive from others licensed for the franchise in that it was solely dedicated to variations of Indiana Jones himself, each with a different set of accessories, with no other characters made. The cardback for each figure featured a 1939 world map.
