Iraq is a country in the Middle East. The region was once called Mesopotamia, along with Kuwait, eastern Syria, and southeastern Turkey.
Adventures in Iraq[]
Indiana Jones and René Emile Belloq first met on an expedition in Iraq while studying at the Sorbonne in 1922.[1]
In 1934, Indiana Jones recovered the Staff of Aaron from the Yezedi, a satanic cult active in the country who had come into possession of the relic some time after its disappearance from the Temple of Solomon.[2]
Two years later, Jones and Marion Ravenwood's flight to Egypt from Nepal included a stop over in Baghdad.[3]
