Iraq is a country in the Middle East. The region was once called Mesopotamia, along with Kuwait, eastern Syria, and southeastern Turkey.
Adventures in Iraq[]
Indiana Jones and René Emile Belloq first met on an expedition in Iraq while studying at the Sorbonne in 1922.
In 1934, Indiana Jones recovered the Staff of Aaron from the Yezedi, a satanic cult active in the country who had come into possession of the relic some time after its disappearance from the Temple of Solomon.
Two years later, Jones and Marion Ravenwood's flight to Egypt from Nepal included a stop over in Baghdad.
