A duck-shaped Ugaritic Ivory Case, cataloged as MG-101 alongside a Funerary Mask, was excavated in Syria in 1931. By late 1937, at Woolley Hall's museum on the campus of Marshall College, the ivory cosmetics case was put up on display where particular attention was drawn to its cuneiform lettering. However, during a stormy October night at the university, the exhibit was damaged when Locus broke in to recover a Siwan Cat Mummy. Hours later, archaeologist and professor Indiana Jones placed the Syrian piece back in its display as he and curator Marcus Brody cleaned up to identify exactly what had been stolen.[1]
