The Ivory Mask was 16th century depiction of the first Queen Mother of the Benin empire.
American archaeologist Indiana Jones found the ivory portrait while journeying through Giza in 1937 as he investigated the grander mystery of the Great Circle. He realized it was a lost artifact and resolved to see it returned to its "rightful home".[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Although Indiana Jones and the Great Circle doesn't identify her by name, the Ivory Mask is base on a real image of Idia.
