James Kahn is a writer who authored several books including movie novelizations connected to Lucasfilm Ltd. and Steven Spielberg.
Kahn wrote the adaptation of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and was approached to write the follow-up but was unable to due to TV commitments on Family Medical Center occupying too much of his time.[1]
