Jeb Stuart.

Jeb Stuart (born January 21, 1956) is an American film director, producer and writer. His most notable works include Die Hard (1989) and the film adaptation of The Fugitive (1993).

Shortly after the release of The Fugitive, on which Harrison Ford played the lead role, Stuart was hired to write a script for the fourth Indiana Jones movie based on a story outlined by George Lucas. The result was Indiana Jones and the Saucermen from Mars, a script that was liked by Lucas; however, both Steven Spielberg or Ford were reluctant for Indiana Jones to interact with extraterrestrials. The script languished for a time before finally being rejected in 1996 due to the release of Independence Day.
