Jimmy Foxx was an American professional baseball player. He was a solid clean-up batter, and Short Round and his brother Chu had often argued whether Foxx or Lou Gehrig was the stronger player in that role.[1]
Short Round later apologized for these debates to Big Short Round, whom he regarded as the reincarnation of his lost brother.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Though most real-world sources spell his name as "Jimmie Foxx", James Kahn's novelization of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom uses the less common (but not unknown) variation "Jimmy Foxx".[1]
