Joel McNeely is an American composer who wrote music for The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. He has also composed music for several Lucasfilm Ltd. projects, including Radioland Murders and a soundtrack for the Star Wars Shadows of the Empire multimedia project.
McNeely has also composed several scores for filmmaker Seth MacFarlane. In 2011, McNeely received permission from George Lucas to adapt and expand a piece of music he wrote called "She's Wonderful, Too" which was originally featured on the soundtrack for Young Indiana Jones and the Scandal of 1920. This was adapted into a full-length piece for Seth MacFarlane's debut jazz album Music Is Better Than Words. Screenwriter Jonathan Hales also received credit for the lyrics on this album.[1][2]
