John F. Kennedy International Airport, formerly Idlewild Airport, is the main international airport serving New York City.
History[]
In 1969, following an incident in New York Indiana Jones and Sallah journeyed to the airport. There, Sallah told Indy, who was leaving to pursue his goddaughter Helena Shaw in possession of the stolen Antikythera, that he missed their adventures together and offered to join him on the flight. The archaeologist, seeing that lifestyle as behind him, replied that those days had come and gone. Indy then went into the terminal to board his flight but was nearly hit by a car before he headed to Tangier, Morocco.[1]
