Johnny, also known as Johnny the Rat and Johnny the Squid, was a man who died in the presence of a gangster and his companion Joey. The gangster then told police at the scene that Johnny the Rat had died "real sudden like" as he and Joey were just standing there.

Johnny was created as part of the gangster character profile for West End Games' The World of Indiana Jones roleplaying game as "Johnny the Rat". When the MasterBook profiles were later converted for use with the D6 System in Indiana Jones Adventures, the same quote mentioning Johnny was reprinted this time with "the Squid" after his name.
