Jupiter is a planet.
History[]
It contains information cut from the final release of an Indiana Jones medium, or otherwise unpublished. Everything said in this section and not elsewhere did not happen in the "proper" Indiana Jones continuity.
In the 1950s, during the wedding between his son Indiana Jones and Marion Ravenwood, a drunken Henry Walton Jones, Senior decided to come to the stage and sing Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me to the Moon", which included a mention of Jupiter and Mars in one of its lyrics, to the dismay of the newlyweds, as Henry's singing was terrible.[1]
Behind the scenes[]

In the non-canonical Star Wars/Indiana Jones crossover comic book Into the Great Unknown, the Millennium Falcon passes by Jupiter.[2]
During the development of the fourth Indiana Jones film, Frank Darabont worked on a potential script for the project entitled Indiana Jones and the City of the Gods.[3] It featured a mention to Jupiter at the end of the film through Henry Walton Jones, Senior singing Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me to the Moon", whose lyrics mention the planet.[1]
