Kate Rivers was a newspaper critic and Bohemian poet who Indiana Jones met and courted in New York City in 1920.
Kate Rivers lived in Greenwich Village in the same apartment building as Indy's friends the Jackson family and was a member of the artistic and critical luminary circle known as the Algonquin Round Table.[1]
However, Jones was also seeing Gloria Schuyler and Peggy Peabody at the same time as Rivers which led to all three women rejecting him on his 21st birthday.[1]
