Knossos was the seat of power of the Minoan civilization on the Greek island of Crete during the Bronze Age and was once an Atlantean colony. Knossos included the Labyrinth of the Minotaur, which opened with the use of a Sunstone and a Moonstone; it contained a map model of Atlantis, as well as a subway tram leading there.[1]
In 1939 Knossos was found in ruins, with a pair of bull horns featuring prominently in the center of the settlement. Charles Sternhart looking for Atlantis, found his way into the Labyrinth but was trapped there until starved to death. Soon later, Nazis under Klaus Kerner and Dr. Hans Ubermann followed in a U-boat. Indiana Jones explored the ruins and, aligned with the location of the horns, uncovered a Moonstone which he used to enter the Labyrinth.[1]
