The Kruppstein ruins were the remnants of a castle in Hanover, Germany.
History[]
Around March 1917, during World War I, aviator Charles Nungesser used the Kruppstein ruins as the rendezvous point for Indiana Jones, then a French intelligence agent, upon the completion of the spy's assignment to meet with Anthony Fokker. After the spy reunited with Nungesser and his biplane, the pair flew out of the country back to France.[1]
