Princess Leia was the daughter of Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala of Naboo, and the younger twin sister of Luke Skywalker.[1]
Biography[]
In 1935[2] Leia was a prisoner of the Thuggee, until Indiana Jones rescued her from her cell.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
Princess Leia, first played by Carrie Fisher, is a character from George Lucas' Star Wars franchise. An ancient 'Egyptian' hieroglyph in the Well of the Souls set for Raiders of the Lost Ark included a depiction of her giving the Death Star plans to R2-D2 and C-3PO as an easter egg,[4] one of several nods between the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchise reflecting their shared history with Lucasfilm Ltd.
In LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures, several Star Wars characters make cameo appearances. The cell in which Leia is held captive is very similar to the detention block on the Death Star. Players must use a Bazooka Trooper to blow up the debris, then use a soldier to open the Guard Post and enter the cell.[3]
