Len Hall was one of the pilots of Lafayette Escadrille during World War I.
Biography[]
Indiana Jones met Len Hall while the pilot was playing billiards with Hobey Baker and Harold Green in February 1917. Len found it amusing that Indy expected to leave in two weeks, fully aware that the longest any photographer had survived there had been only eight days but his rude laugh was silenced by Hobey.[1]
Later he introduced Charles Nungesser to Jones and wished him luck in his first assignment. By the time of Jones's stay at the base, Hall had accumulated a victory tally of eight against enemy craft.[1]
