By August 1969, a Liquor Mart had Manhattan premises situated between Silvano's Appliances next door and Lucio's Pastry Shop further down the street.
History[]
In 1969, occupying an adjacent street, the Liquor Mart joined in the celebrations alongside the Apollo 11 ticker tape parade but an anti-war demonstration took place past the store which was disrupted by a gun-wielding neo-Nazi chasing a local archaeology professor from nearby Hunter College.[1]
