- Producer Frank Marshall played the pilot of the Flying Wing in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
- Producer Kathleen Kennedy appears briefly as a dancer during Willie Scott's performance of "Anything Goes" in the opening of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
- The Shanghai Airport scene in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom featured several crew cameos. George Lucas and Steven Spielberg appeared along with producer Kathleen Kennedy, marketing and promotion director Sidney Ganis, and costume designer Anthony Powell in missionary garb. Producer Robert Watts and Production Manager Patricia Carr played European tourists along wwith producer Frank Marshall as a coolie pulling Carr's cart. Harrison Ford's personal trainer for the film Jake Steinfeld played a brawny porter.[1]
- ILM visual effects supervisor Dennis Muren makes an appearance as the Trenchcoated European Spy in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
- Episode writer Gavin Scott played a German spy in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles episode "Barcelona, May 1917".

- The character Carol Schultz was named in after director Carl Schultz.
- The central city of Lucasio in Indiana Jones and his Desktop Adventures was named in honor of George Lucas.
- The 14th Century Georgian Lucasian table was named after George Lucas.
- In a fourth-wall breaking gag, Lego versions of Steven Spielberg and George Lucas appeared at the end of LEGO Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Brick.
- The bulletin board in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure features a posting selling rats and snakes made by a "S. Spielberg".
- Pictures of the production team (including photos of Steven Spielberg and George Lucas) appear as a hidden Easter egg in the Aetherium level of Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine.
