The Lombardi family was an Italian lineage of which Gina Lombardi was part. Family members included:
- Gina Lombardi's father - A capable wild boar hunter
- Ginetta "Gina" Lombardi - An anti-Fascist resistance journalist
- Laura Lombardi - A world-leading expert in ancient languages and Third Reich Special Antiquities Collection agent
- Gina Lombardi's cousin - An individual who, as a young nasty boy, liked to hide things when doing mischief
By October 1937, Laura had gone missing, so Gina teamed up with the American archaeologist Indiana Jones in his quest to uncover the mystery behind the Great Circle before the Third Reich in order to uncover her sister's whereabouts. Unknown to Gina at that time, Laura had been working for Indy's Nazi counterpart Emmerich Voss, who may have threatened her loved ones to ensure her cooperation.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Digital Art Book mentions a Blackshirt soldier called Fabio Lombardi.[2] However, the game itself doesn't include such character so it's unknown if he is somehow connected to the Lombardi family, even though a possibility is made by the fact that it notes Gina having spied on the Fascist government.[1]
