The Maharaja of Nepal introduced Indiana Jones to anthropologist Patar Kali. Grateful for Jones' recovery of an invaluable scroll containing dictation from the Buddha himself, the Maharaja arranged a joint expedition between Jones and Kali to find the Covenant of Buddha in 1938.
