Matera is a city in Italy.
By 1969, Indiana Jones owned a fridge magnet from Matera. Still hurting from being in the midst of a separation from Marion Ravenwood, the archaeologist unceremoniously placed the souvenir over the picture of his wife on the morning of the Apollo 11 ticker tape parade. However, he discreetly removed it some days later when she returned unexpectedly following Jones and his goddaughter Helena's adventure with the Antikythera.[1]
