Merchant #2 was a guest at the Guardian of Tradition Dinner held at Pankot Palace by Zalim Singh.
Biography
When guests were being served beetles which were to be eaten by sucking out the innards, the merchant was confused to find that Willie Scott wasn't participating in the feast. After Scott replied that she'd already had bugs for lunch, he proceeded to eat, much to Willie's revulsion, and liked it, enthusiastically and loudly burping at the end of that particular course.
Later, he pointed out dessert was being served and was soon after scooping the brains out to eat them.
Behind the scenes
The second merchant was played by the late Frank Olegario but the film credits the role to Merchant 1 actor Ahmed El-Shenawi.[1]
