Mexico City is the capital and largest city of Mexico. The modern city is built over the site of the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan, on a former lakebed in a mountain plateau.
Mack Stanton once traveled to Mexico City to prevent a rival "antiquities agent" from selling the ill-gotten collection of one of Stanton's clients.[1]
In 1957, Indiana Jones and Mutt Williams flew from New York City to Peru on Pan American Airways, stopping to change planes in Havana, Mexico City and Cusco before landing in Nazca.[2]
