Mexico City is the capital and largest city of Mexico. The modern city is built over the site of the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan, on a former lakebed in a mountain plateau.
Mack Stanton once traveled to Mexico City to prevent a rival "antiquities agent" from selling the ill-gotten collection of one of Stanton's clients.
