Michael Gough (November 23, 1916 - March 17, 2011) was a British actor who played Leo Tolstoy in Travels with Father.
He was best known for playing Alfred Pennyworth in the Batman film series from 1989 to 1997. Gough is also known for his roles in the Hammer horror films from 1958, with his first role as Sir Arthur Holmwood in Dracula, and the Tim Burton films Sleepy Hollow, Corpse Bride and Alice in Wonderland.
