Michaelson was an academic whose works formed part of the text for an Archaeology course taught by Professor Henry Jones, Jr. at Marshall College in 1957.
One day, while lecturing on Skara Brae, Jones' lecture was interrupted by the arrival of Charles Stanforth. Realizing that Stanforth couldn't wait, Jones instructed his class to read chapter four of Michaelson's work, and identify the difference between exodus and emigration.
