The Millenium Falcon.
The Millenium Falcon was a spaceship piloted by Han Solo and Chewbacca.
History[]
The Millenium Falcon crash landed on Earth from a far away galaxy in the 19th century. Afterwards, pilot Han Solo was killed by the native Indians but the ape-like co-pilot Chewbacca lived to roam the forests and became known as Sasquatch.[1]
Over a century later, Indiana Jones and Short Round searched for Sasquatch. They found the crashed Falcon and Solo's remains, of which Jones thought looked 'eerily familiar.'[1]
Behind the scenes[]
This Millennium Falcon is an iconic spaceship from George Lucas's Star Wars franchise, renowned for its appearances in the Star Wars original and sequel trilogies as well in the Star Wars Anthology spin-off film Solo: A Star Wars Story.[2] It was used in the Into the Great Unknown crossover between the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises, published in the nineteenth issue of the Star Wars Tales comic book series and written by W. Haden Blackman.[1]
Dark Horse Comics staff member Karl Kesel originally proposed to use the Millennium Falcon for an Indiana Jones adventure that would have seen Indiana Jones and a mysterious woman opening up a secret passageway that would have taken them to the Falcon and had them encounter C-3PO. Kesel's proposal was rejected by Lucasfilm Ltd. but it's presumed Dark Horse later reworked it into Blackman's story due to the similar premise, with the only apparent change being the ship's occupants.[3]
