Mount Horeb was a mountain mentioned in the Bible. According to some passages in the Hebrew scriptures, Moses was given the Ten Commandments on Mount Horeb. Other biblical passages mention that the event happened on Mount Sinai instead.
In 1936, Indiana Jones mentioned Mount Horeb when discussing the Ten Commandments to Major Eaton and Colonel Musgrove.
