NC 170GP was the designation of Walter Donovan's corporate jet.
In 1938, Indiana Jones and Marcus Brody used the aircraft to fly to Venice, Italy, where Henry Jones, Sr., Donovan's project leader in his search for the Holy Grail, had gone missing. The plane flew out from New York City and made stopovers in St. John's (Newfoundland), São Miguel in the Azores, and Lisbon, during which Indiana Jones studied his father's Grail Diary.[1]
