National Geographic, formerly The National Geographic Magazine, is a magazine of the National Geographic Society.
History[]
Indiana Jones read up on Hiram Bingham's discoveries in National Geographic and in 1916 mentioned as much to Edward Stratemeyer while helping the author overcome his writer's block during the typing of the newest Tom Swift book.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The design document for "Indiana Jones 2007",[2] an early version of the Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings video game by LucasArts,[3] indicated that an assignment by National Geographic was the reason for Maggie O'Malley's presence in Central America during the game's events.[2]
