Adventures in Nevada[]
In 1957, Soviet soldiers led an assault on Hanger 51 in the deserts of Nevada. There, they threatened famous archaeologist Indiana Jones into stealing the remains of an interdimensional visitor for them.[1]
After Jones escaped the Soviets, he found himself in Doom Town where a nuclear test was about to start. Jones barely escaped by hiding in a lead-lined King Cool refrigerator. Jones was then interrogated by FBI agents who suspected him of cooperating with the Soviets.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The outdoor scenes which are indicated in the movie as being in Nevade were not filmed in Nevada, but in New Mexico[2] where similar deserts as in Nevada can be found. The scenes first shown in the movie were the first scenes filmed.
