Nicco was an Italian Fascist soldier stationed at a camp in Addis Ababa where Indiana Jones was captured in December 1938. George Ballentyne overheard Nicco speaking with his companions during which Nicco voiced his complaint about the stew they were served.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Indiana Jones and the Lost Treasure of Sheba includes an illustration of George Ballentyne listening in on Nicco's conversation but only shows two out of the three soldiers speaking to each other in the text itself.
