Indiana Jones Wiki

Noah was a man who constructed an Ark in preparation for the Genesis Deluge. He was the great-grandfather of Nimrod.

Biography[]

Following God's commands[]

According to the Bible, Noah and his family were chosen by God to be spared from a Great Flood generated by God to eradicate the sinful. Noah received instructions to build an ark and to bring aboard samples of the different animal species of the world, in order to repopulate the Earth after the flood waters subsided. He was gifted seventeen stones from the Metatron, an angel acting as the voice of God, to accomplish this task. Noah would imbue the stones within the wheel of his Ark and would be able to teleport the animals on board from across the world. These stones became the relics of the Great Circle which encompassed the globe. Following the event, the Nephilim Order was established to watch over and protect these relics while the Ark itself was seemingly hidden away from the world.[3]

The Bible would eventually include Noah's story in the book of Genesis, which included a passage which saw Noah, in a moment of rage, condemning all of his son Ham's children to be servants for all time. This later led to some in the American South to later use the story as a justification for the enslavement of people based on their skin color, claiming that as Noah's grandchildren eventually settled in Africa and gave birth to Africans, their black skin marked Noah's curse as an indication that they were born to be slaves.[2]

In 1927, while seeking Noah's Ark on Mount Ararat, American archaeologist Indiana Jones received a concussion and had a momentary vision of Noah appearing before him.[4]

In 1936, when Indiana Jones first mentioned the Ark of the Covenant, Colonel Musgrove of the US Army thought that he was talking about the Ark of Noah before Jones explained he was talking about Moses' Ark rather than Noah's.[1] Later that year, Indy sarcastically told Reeko that he would pay him five hundred dollars if he had the Ark of Noah, the Holy Grail and Atlantis "wrapped up in one".[5]

Between October and November 1937, Indiana Jones and the Third Reich Special Antiquities Collection agent Emmerich Voss both became involved in the search for the Great Circle relics. It culminated in Voss locating what appeared to be Noah's Ark hidden away beneath the Ziggurat of Ur in Iraq. Voss told Jones the story of the Great Circle relics and their connection to the mortal man they called Noah despite Jones' doubts. The Ark was taken onto Lake Hammar where Voss attempted to use their power in spite Jones warning Voss that Noah was chosen by God, but he relented and inadvertently unleashed a second Great Flood, which was barely stopped by the Nephilim agent Locus, who rid of Voss and took the Ark away from mankind's reach by opening a portal to Antarctica.[3]
