The Nubian Boy was a Sudanese pre-adolescent male encountered by Indiana Jones in 1947 at the pyramids of Meroë.
Biography
He claimed to want to be like Englishmen, having been educated by English missionaries, and would use his balancing skills to aid Jones only after the archaeologist had killed a local pack of hyenas and gave him the pocketwatch of Heinrich Hörner, which the boy felt would make him seem more industrialized.
