1937 - Indiana Jones arrives in Rome, Italy in search of a missing Cat Mummy and infiltrates Vatican City to investigate the medallion left behind by Locus at Marshall College. There, Indy meets Gina Lombardi, a local journalist searching for her missing sister Laura. Indy also discovers the existence of the Nephilim Order and learns of Nazi archaeologist Emmerich Voss' "Operation Großer Kreis", a worldwide hunt for the seventeen Great Circle artifacts. With the assistance of Prime Minister Benito Mussolini and Father Cesare Ventura, Voss steals the thirteen Great Circle relics that the Nephilim Order had collected over the years.^[1]
1942 - The Battle of El Alamein begins and the Germans are defeated in El Alamein less than three weeks later.^[2]
1957 - Indiana Jones and Mutt Williams arrive in Peru after following clues by old colleague Harold Oxley. Jones and Williams followed riddles left in Oxley's cell in the Nazca sanatorium and head to Orellana's grave that night in an attempt to find the crystal skull that Oxley had returned to the site.^[3]^[4]
