Paul Smith was an American agent working for Federal Bureau of Investigation in the 1950s.

Biography

In 1957, FBI agent Paul Smith and his partner Taylor interrogated Indiana Jones following the archaeologist's escape from Hangar 51 and the nuclear blast over Doom Town. He suspected Jones of being a Communist in league with the Soviets. He was on a first-name basis with General Ross.

Behind the scenes

Paul Smith was played by Neil Flynn in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

In the Crystal Skull comic book adaptation, Smith has the distinction of being the only FBI agent who interrogates Indiana Jones in front of General Ross, as Agent Taylor absent.
