The pigeon is a species of common bird often found in cities.

During Palm Sunday of 1200, several groups of pigeons were released in Basilica, Venice and their descendants still lived into the twentieth-century.[1] Pigeons could be found in New York City.[2]
Pigeon flambé was served at Club Obi Wan in 1935.[1] Indiana Jones used one such dish as a weapon to kill Chen, one of the Lao Che's sons who had shot Wu Han.[3]
