Portugal officially the Portuguese Republic (Portuguese: República Portuguesa), is a country on the Iberian Peninsula. Located in southwestern Europe, Portugal is the westernmost country of mainland Europe and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and south and by Spain to the north and east. The Atlantic archipelagos of the Azores and Madeira are also part of Portugal.
Adventures in Portugal[]
In 1938, Indiana Jones tracked down Panama Hat to Lisbon in search of the Cross of Coronado, stolen by Fedora's Gang to Panama Hat in 1912 Utah, USA.[1]
It was off the Portuguese coast that Jones finally reclaimed the artifact about which he was adamant should be in a museum.[2]
Later that year, he and Marcus Brody's flight to Venice, Italy included a stopover in Lisbon.[2]
