Indiana Jones Wiki

Princeton Station is a railway station in Princeton, New Jersey.

History[]

In early 1934, polar explorer Evelyn Briggs Baldwin was struck down in a hit and run by Nazis but the elderly man managed to make his way to Indiana Jones' Princeton home at 1226 Chestnut where the archaeologist was told of Ultima Thule. Baldwin succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital and, the next day, Jones went to Princeton Station where he observed Baldwin being taken away before he rendezvoused with Marcus Brody on the busy platform ahead of a planned train journey to New Mexico.[1]

However, Nazi captain Rudolf Reingold lifted Jones' suitcase while the man was distracted talking to his friend in an effort to find the object that Baldwin had given Jones, unaware that the archaeologist was carrying it on his person. When Reingold found nothing useful in the suitcase, he disguised himself as Rudolph "Rudy" Hyde-Smith—a Londoner living in Boston—and reunited Jones with his belongings on a train out of New Jersey, claiming to have accidentally picked it up in place of his own luggage.[1]
