R. L. Stine is an author of books for young adults, best known for his popular Goosebumps and Fear Street series. In the mid-1980's, Stine penned several Indiana Jones gamebooks:
- Indiana Jones and the Curse of Horror Island
- Indiana Jones and the Giants of the Silver Tower
- Indiana Jones and the Cult of the Mummy's Crypt
- Indiana Jones and the Ape Slaves of Howling Island
After the phenomenal success of Goosebumps, each gamebook was re-issued with Stine's name displayed prominently above the title.
Trivia
- In his Goosebumps book Monster Blood, Stine makes a reference to Indiana Jones. In one part of his book, Ethan Ross visit his friend Andy and she said that before Ethan's arrival in her house, she was seeing the first Indiana Jones movie.
